  Hello,

  I would like to make my site private, but only so that viewers need to write a password to acces it, not have to log in to WordPress.

  I have found this quite hard to work out how to do.

  Could you please advise!

  It’s not quite hard: it is impossible to password-protect an entire blog at WordPress.com.

  The only thing you can do is password protect each post as you write it, and use the same password.
