private blog but 3 views in stats

  I have set my mmck22.wordpress.com blog to private but the stats show 3 views today – why?

  When your blog is set to private, we count your own views and the views of anyone else who is a registered user on the blog.

  Just so there’s some stats activity to display.

  On a public blog, users registered under the blog are not counted. On a private blog, it’s reversed as many private blogs are used by companies, schools, etc. They have traffic that administrators want to track, just not public traffic.
