private blog, invite non-wordpress members
-
I’m a beginner at this, using a private blog to develop material for a public blog. I have some sophisticated people lined up to help me, but I won’t ask them to join wordpress just to look at my private blog.
In terms of the general purpose I assume wordpress has, to make money through helping people create good blogs (a good thing), I think forbidding non-wordpress members from looking at private or test blogs is counterproductive.
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

I don’t comprehend what are on about. Each and everyone of use can choose to either make our blogs public and available for viewing to all internet users or to make the blog private and select who can view it. http://en.support.wordpress.com/settings/privacy-settings/
An account and login are required for private blog viewing, because that’s the only way software can detect if one is a bona fide user of the blog, or just another hacker trying to access it.

If you’d like to invite others to publish posts or help approve comments on your blog, you can invite them to be a Contributor, Editor, or Author. If you want users to receive updates each time you publish new content you can invite them to be a follower/viewer.
