private blog – invite users

  Hello,

  I’ve juste create a blog in wordpress. I made it private (it’s for my daughter).

  When she invite friends, they’re forced to create a wordpress.com account.
  Is there’s a way to connect, without create this account ?

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  Hi there,

  According to the documentation:

  All viewers added to a private blog must have a WordPress.com account—this ensures that only those you’ve authorized to see your blog are the ones viewing it

  http://en.support.wordpress.com/settings/privacy-settings/

  So there’s no way to invite users without them having to create accounts first.
