Private Blog: Problems Inviting Users

I set up my wordpress.com blog to be private. I had the intention of inviting the people that where following my blog before using the invite feature. The problem is that the follower’s list on my blog, list people by their public display name while the invite feature wants the actual username.

For the followers whose publicly displayed name is different from their username then the invite feature fails with “WordPress.com username does not exist”. Now I can get around this for the followers that I have their email address. But I am stuck for the followers that I don’t know their username or their email address.

So the question I have is: Is their a way to find out a wordpress.com username without having to ask them what it is so I can invite them?

The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)
