Private Blog Question

    Hi all,
I would like to start a blog for a private club. I want the first page to be a static page with info on how to join the club vieable to the public, with the other pages being only for club members. I understand how to create a static page but I am having a problem the pages that I want private.
When I create a new page and mark it as private it doesn’t show up in the “pages” sidebar. I would like to have the private pages viewable in the sidebar so that members could then get to them. Am I doing something wrong or is what I am trying to do not available on wordpress?

Setting pages to private means that only YOU can see it. What you can do is to password-protect the pages you only want your members to see. Min you, you can not hide or password-protect whole sections of your blog, only individual posts or pages.

Thanks, that helps. It is not exactly what I had hoped for, but it will work.
