Private blog question

  Hi, I have tried the private blog option and it doesn’t seem to work. All of my friends/followers could see it and comment while I only invited one person for testing purposes. Can you help?

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  That cannot happen if your change the blog visibility to private correctly and then log oust and clear your browser cache and cookies and view the blog without logging in to prove this to yourself.

  You can make the blog visibility private temporarily. > Settings > Reading

  3. I would like my blog to be visible only to users I choose – Select this option to create a private blog. If you want others to be able to view your private blog (and add comments, if you’ve enabled them) you’ll need to invite them to be a viewer. http://en.support.wordpress.com/settings/privacy-settings/

  I did mark it private and invited just one but all could see as it stands the blog is marked private. http://wematterphotos.wordpress.com/2013/07/11/testing-for-private/ Maybe setting up the blog?

  Howdy,

  The blog was marked to ask search engines not to search it, but not actually private. I have marked it private for you, which you can change in the future at Settings->Reading.

  You can invite users for testing by visiting the Users->Invite New link in your dashboard.

  Make sure that before viewing the blog you log out and clear your browser’s cache and cookies and do not log in again http://www.google.com/support/accounts/bin/answer.py?hl=en&answer=32050
