Private Blog with unintended user – How do I remove the user?

  • Unknown's avatar

I have a private blog, sent an invitation to a misspelled email address and I want to remove that person.

Upon receiving the acceptance email, I deleted the accepted invitation, but it seems that has no effect on the ability for the invitee to see the blog.

My list of users does not seem to be accurate – this person does not show up in the list, though the invitation showed accepted, and I have the confirmation email as well, and I have invited myself with a different email address and I do not show up in the user list either.

    Any ideas?

The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Please let me know the user/email address that needs to be removed and I’ll take care of it for you.

Note that a correctly-formatted email address will be redacted from the public forums view but I will be able to see it.

Hi, I found a place under settings that showed the subscribers this morning. I was expecting the list to be found under the users tab.

I pressed the remove button, I assume that would have removed the person?

The email addresses were either (email visible only to moderators and staff) or (email visible only to moderators and staff). The wordpress name was sonsomething7.

I do not see that user listed as a follower or a viewer on your blog, so it looks like this has been taken care of. :)
