Private Blogs – User Access

  I just created a private blog to serve as a forum for internal employee news for my small company, thinking I would invite my staff via email and they could all view/comment on the blog but that it would remain private. Doing my first invite test it seems like whoever I invite has to have a wordpress account – is there anyway around this? My intention was NOT to make all my staff create wordpress accounts.

  I’ve gone through all the FAQ’s for viewers/followers and privacy settings but don’t see a way around this…
