Private Hosting flexibility?
-
Hey.
In a few months I plan to move my blog to one of the hosting services that WordPress advocates.
Now, If I did this and hosted my blog with my own domain name and private hosting, am I able to edit the CSS and all of the other premium features that you do not have as a free member of WordPress. Thanks
Andy
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

What other premium features are you specifically referring to? .COM and .ORG are very different. http://en.support.wordpress.com/com-vs-org/

You would certainly be able to edit the CSS.
The answer for some of the other premium features is: it depends on the hosting plan you go with. Space upgrade is the obvious example: plans differ with respect to the amount of space you get.
So yes, it would help to know what you want to do with your blog. -
Also, you will have to lose those fancy FREEmium features as can be found in wp.com global tag listings and or blog of the day and such, almost immediately.

That’s fine, all I want to be able to do is edit the css and be able to use wordpress as an interface, because I find posting blogs really easy with wordpress.
Thanks for all of the replies appriciate it.
