I uploaded a confidential board roster that was uploaded as a image via one of our password protected web pages. However, someone googled their name and the roster appeared. Is there a way to make this link private and only accessible via a password? Also this make me ask if all uploaded images are viewable to the public without the password protection. Is that true?

Yes, if the site is public then search engines will index the content on it.
If one is using password protected posts and pages and foolishly names a person in the URL of an uploaded image that can be found in indexed search engine content then it can and will be found.

So if things can be found, what’s the purpose of using the password-protected web page? Basically, I uploaded an image to one of the pages that require a password to view any of the documents. One of the docs is a an uploaded link with people’s personal phone numbers and home addresses. Based on what you’re saying, we can never have such a thing on our website.
