Private link not working once I log out.

  Hoping someone can help….

  I’ve made a private page for a gallery of client images, and the link works fine when I’m logged in, however once I sign out and try the link, it says “Page not Found”.

  I’m not sure what I’ve done wrong…. Surely I don’t have to be logged into my blog for a link to work??

  You do if the page is private – private pages are only for Admin and Editors – you need to password protect the page for the client –

  Password protection is done in the same box as the Publish or update buttons

  Ohh, I didn’t realise that it was just for admin. Thanks! I’ve changed it back to a password protected page.
