  Can I set up a page that can only be viewed by selected people ?

  @geoff2250 absolutely. We have some options listed here:

  http://en.support.wordpress.com/settings/privacy-settings/

  You can make the whole site private, password protect pages, or invite private viewers to look at private pages. Whatever works best for you.
