Private page message

  I created a private page but I want to change the default message. When a non-registered user selects the page, the following appears “Apologies, but the page you requested could not be found. Perhaps searching will help.” I want to put a different message, can I do this?

  You can’t change the message. But a private page isn’t supposed to be accessible to anyone except you: what’s the page and how does one get to it?

  I see, thanks.
  I thought that I could use private messages to make some pages public and others protected to users.
