Private pages
-
I have set up private pages for my clients. In the initial email from WordPress, there was a link. One of my clients lost the link, and asked me to reset her password. I reset the password, but there was no link. How do I know what the private page address is?
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Hi @nicoleborsuk,
Are you referring to Password Protected pages? If so, the link to the page is just the page itself.
For example, I just created a Password Protected page called test, and it can be found here: https://jennysihua.wordpress.com/test/
The page address is the same as a non-Password Protected page, and anyone can visit the link, but without a password visitors cannot see any content.
You can find out more about page visibility here:

Let me know if that answers your question!

Hi there,
What is the address of the site in question? You can reset the passwrod for a WordPress.com account by entering the username or password here:
https://wordpress.com/wp-login.php?action=lostpassword
That will send an email with a password reset link to the email address on file for that account. The link in the initial signup email is just to confirm the email address for a new account. It cannot be used to reset the password.
