  How do I publish a post so it is only visible to people I sent and e-mail invitation to that accepted the invitation?

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  You can’t really do that, unfortunately. There isn’t a visible only to these users format. There is a private post format, but that shows only to those users who are either editors or admins, and I don’t think you want to give those abilities to these people. Instead, I think you could do it, by sending out an email invitation with an password included, and then use that password for all the posts you only want visible to them. Only the title and password-protected will appear to other people.
