Private posts for Subscribers

  I want to make some of my posts only visible to subscribers to my blog. I don’t want to have to do passwords and the like. I just want a setting so anyone who is signed up can read ‘special’ posts but those who just pass by my blog casually can’t read them.

  Is this possible and is this something that might happen in the near future if not? It would be a great marketing idea for me, encouraging people to sign up to follow the blog instead of just coming by from time to time.

  It is not possible at WordPress.com. But you can create an Aweber or other email newsletter and link to it and get people to sign up for that. It’ll excerpt your blog posts and you can add whatever else you want to it.
