Private posts, is this possible?

  How can I set a particular post to private so that only people I select can view it? It is possible to have one post private, while allowing all other posts to be open to the public without setting a password on the post?

  In the write screen, there is a box on the right that says “keep this post private.” Check that.

  ya but if I do that, I think then I am the only one who can see it, or are all the contributors, editors and admins also allowed to view the post?

  Alternatively, you can password protect the post. Look at the bottom of the write screen. And here is the info on that http://faq.wordpress.com/2006/10/23/post-options-post-password/
