private posts on main page

  Hi
  is there a way to get private posts to show on the main page of wordpress.com hosted blogs when the
  administrator is logged in?
  it’s kinda inconvenient sifting through posts through the “edit posts” section.

  Actually, I just realised that if the privacy setting for the blog is set to “public,” then posts will show up on the main page but with “private:” in front of it.

  Ah, thanks, that is something I did not know. Mind you, I’m never logged out and would never have seen it.
