Private settings changed to public, but still showing as private.

  When I set up my blog it was private. Now I want to change that setting to public but, although I can make the changes in Settings, saving the changes and on checking the setting have changed, it still says that the blog is private when I try to share the link. What have I missed, please?

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  I checked http://gladysfriday52.wordpress.com/ and it’s public for me (I can read posts, etc).

  Well, thank you hfzrhmn, (may I call you hfr for short?), that’s very kind of you!

  It seems that the issue must be with my link then. Hopefully it’s sorted itself out now.
