Private settings for Blog

  I was wondering how I can make my blog private with a password protection for those who can look at my page? I don’t want everyone to be able to see it just those whom I give permission.

  Hi there,

  If you set your blog to private, only WordPress.com users you authorize will be able to view your site:
  http://en.support.wordpress.com/settings/privacy-settings/

  Alternatively, you can password protect individual posts or pages. These posts or pages can be viewed by anyone with the password, whether they have a WordPress.com account or not:
  http://en.support.wordpress.com/posts/post-visibility/#password-protect-a-post
