Private site still showing page view

  Stats are still showing page views after a fresh site was marked as private, why?

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  Hi there,

  Can you specify if its a different site than memy2019.wordpress.com; as I can’t view this site. Have a look here : https://d.pr/free/i/zs9IXc. I am not really sure as how can the views are getting increased until you approve the person to view the blog.

  Note that when you set a WordPress.com site to private then your own views of it as Admin of your site are counted.
