Private to public settings

  I’ve changed my privacy settings to “Allow search engines to index this site”, but still it is requiring a log in.

  Please help.

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  Are you talking about this site, http://mrfrostblog.wordpress.com/ ?

  It didn’t require a log in for me to view it.

  Log out of wordpress, clear your browser cache and cookies, restart your browser and then try again.

  Thanks – problem solved.

  (Although it would be a good idea to suggest that on the settings page…)

  Browser issues are not necessarily specific for the problem you asked about. Any time you don’t see things update as you expect, it may be caused by your browser holding on to its cache:

  You are welcome. My suggestion was sort of a shot in the dark. I’ve never seen this an issue when switching from private to public.
