Pro Themes Download
-
Hello,
I bought the Uncode Pro theme in the AccessPress store. I reached this store because WordPress referred me to it. I was using the Uncode Lite theme when I clicked on the Upgrade button, which opened the AccessPress store. I haven’t been able to download demo contents nor to see the default preview that reads ‘We are responsive’. When I first searched for the theme, I got to the Uncode developers page and there’s where I was planning to make the purchase. However, I resolved to make it in AccessPress as WordPress sent me to that store. After checking, it seems that my theme version is not the latest, but I trusted the site because (again) WordPress sent me to it. I’m new to WordPress so I thought it was better to follow the steps recommended by WordPress. Now I don’t now if the error occurs because of the theme version or my host (1and1). -
Hi there!
There are two versions of WordPress, one that we use here on WordPress.com and the other(open source WordPress installation) which you are using on your host 1and1.
To get help on this issue please contact the AccessPress store. They would be able to provide you with the latest version of the theme.
We are only able to help with sites that are hosted on WordPress.com.

Thank you for replying.
I understand, but is this even a trusted site? WordPress forwarded me there and now I can’t get any answer from them. They just won’t reply back. I’m searching on their Facebook page and they have a lot of complaints. All I wanted was to upgrade the theme. I would have never buy it there had it not been for WordPress telling me to do so. I see I’m also missing 2 essential plugins to run the theme.
How does this work? Why does WordPress forwards you to stores when they’re clearly a scam?
