Pro Upgrade Q's

  • Unknown's avatar

I’m interested in the pro upgrade but I have a couple questions that aren’t answered right there at the suck-you-in part.

First, does the pro upgrade include a premium theme?

Second, what if I have several unused domains already and I want to link them all to one single place? Does that cost more?

    Thanks!

No, Premium Themes have to be purchased separately, but it does include a Custom Design upgrade.

The bundle comes with one free domain upgrade, which covers either registration or mapping, so you could map one domain for free. The rest would be an additional $13 per <s>month</s> year (whoops).

    Domains

The rest would be an additional $13 per month.

That should be $ 13.– per YEAR per domain that is mapped – not monthly

    PHEW you had me there!

Well the reason I like wordpress – so far – I’m really new – is that I get that I can just jump in there and presto! I am all for custom design but I don’t want my learning curve to trip me up.

What’s involved with the Custom Upgrade? How much do I need to know or is it as user-friendly as the rest of wordpress?

And the next question is once I purchase the pro and try out the custom, can I then back out and go with a do-it-for-me theme?

Technically, staff will answer all the questions you have in Custom Design, like how to remove links and move columns around etc. But you only get to edit CSS, you don’t edit actual functionality. I would not call CSS editing user-friendly. It’s code.

There is a refund period for the Custom Design upgrade, and if you ask for a refund within that period you should be fine. You don’t HAVE to use a custom design at all, even if you have the upgrade.

  • Thanks for catching that error, raincoaster!
