Problem adding author, email invite not working

  Trying to add a new user to be an author on one of my blogs that I manage. I have done this many times in the past without a problem not sure what is happening this time. We recieves the email with the invite but then the blog does not show up in his “my blog” portion of his account. The user name is MODNICK I am trying to add him as an author for the JohnstonStaff blog.

  Hi there,

  That is strange! I can certainly take care of that for you, but first I have to reach out to the owner of that username and make sure that he in fact wants to be added to your blog. I’ve already sent them an email and as soon as I hear back I’ll take care of it!

  In the mean time, could you please verify the user role which you’d like me to add them as? Each user level has different connotations and different levels of access. We’ve got a help article which will help you with this decision:

  Hi Thank you so much for doing that for me. I will let Nick know that you will be contacting him to get that corrected. Nick needs to be added as just an author the page. I have another one too that isn’t working. I need (email visible only to moderators and staff) to be an administrator to http://eastcharlotteymcas.wordpress.com/

  Any thoughts onto why this isn’t working from my end?? Or is it just fluke this time?

  This is really quite unusual and not something that generally happens. I have no idea why it is! I’ve gone ahead and reached out to the other person as well. If or when they respond to my emails I will add them.

  OK, that administrator has been added to eastcharlotteymcas.wordpress.com! I still haven’t heard from the first person however. As soon as I do I’ll let you know.
