problem adding image from url
-
Hey, I’m having issues adding an image from a URL. When I put all the information in, the red ‘x’ next to the url remains, and I can’t click on the button to actually add the image. The url is correct, and the image loads when I view the url through a browser. The photo is on picasa. Any idea what I can do or what the problem is?

Do you have a link to where this is happening so that we can take a look?
Can you give us the URL of the image you are trying to insert?

The image (for example) is here: https://picasaweb.google.com/skronrod/Zagreb#5595589933179437330. I was just thinking, this must mean that the url doesn’t just load the image, but an entire page with the image as part of its contents? And that would be why wordpress doesn’t recognize it as an image?

Try: https://lh6.googleusercontent.com/-4JU2nFTt-QA/TaeHZcPpgRI/AAAAAAAAOJE/fxBXg2oFMaY/SDC15640.jpg
You need to reference the image only not the page the image is on if you want to insert an image.

Man it seems so obvious now that you tell me, I don’t know why I didn’t realize it myself. I guess it’s like looking for your glasses. Thanks!!!
