Problem Adding newsletter sign up html
-
I’m trying to add a sign up box for my newsletter. I pasted the html code in the html view area and then switched to the visual tab and everything looked fine. The words appeared and I saw the sign up box. I then hit “publish” and the sign up box disappeared. All that showed up is the word “email.” When I switched to the html view area all the code I pasted in was gone and this is what’s there instead:
<div>Email
</div>
Any ideas what the problem is and how to fix it?
Thanks for whatever help you can give me.

It is likely that the HTML code contained a script or some other code. Scripts are not allowed on wordpress.com.

What is the URL of your blog? -
It’s not published yet. Thanks for that tip. I’ll contact the newsletter service I use and see if they have a workaround. I know I need to move to wordpress.org and I guess I should do it sooner rather than later.
