Hello
I am new to wordpress and have followed the support instructions to add social media buttons. I’ve used this code however the badges are not showing:<div><img title=”Instagram” src=”[http://littlecreativeco.files.wordpress.com/2014/05/instagram-glyph.png]” alt=”Instagram” width=”40″ height=”40″ /><img title=”Facebook” src=”[http://littlecreativeco.files.wordpress.com/2014/05/fb-f-logo__blue_501.png]” alt=”Facebook” width=”40″ height=”40″ /><img title=”Pinterest” src=”[http://littlecreativeco.files.wordpress.com/2014/05/pinterest_badge_red.png]” alt=”Pinterest” width=”40″ height=”40″ /></div>

Hi,
Your current code is like this:
<div><a href="//instagram.com/littlecreativeco]"><img title="Instagram" src="//littlecreativeco.files.wordpress.com/2014/05/instagram-glyph.png]" alt="Instagram" width="40" height="40" /></a><a href="//www.facebook.com/littlecreativeco]"><img title="Facebook" src="//littlecreativeco.files.wordpress.com/2014/05/fb-f-logo__blue_501.png]" alt="Facebook" width="40" height="40" /></a><a href="//www.pinterest.com/littlecreative2/]"><img title="Pinterest" src="//littlecreativeco.files.wordpress.com/2014/05/pinterest_badge_red.png]" alt="Pinterest" width="40" height="40" /></a></div>First, you need to edit all the “a href=” parts, so that it now starts with “http://” instead of just “//“.
Second, remove the “]” at the end of the URL.
Third, edit the src inside the img‘s, by removing all the opening and closing brackets ( [ and ] ).
If those gets too complicated, just paste the fixed code below :p
<div><a href="http://instagram.com/littlecreativeco"><img title="Instagram" src="http://littlecreativeco.files.wordpress.com/2014/05/instagram-glyph.png" alt="Instagram" width="40" height="40" /></a><a href="http://www.facebook.com/littlecreativeco"><img title="Facebook" src="http://littlecreativeco.files.wordpress.com/2014/05/fb-f-logo__blue_501.png" alt="Facebook" width="40" height="40" /></a><a href="http://www.pinterest.com/littlecreative2/"><img title="Pinterest" src="http://littlecreativeco.files.wordpress.com/2014/05/pinterest_badge_red.png" alt="Pinterest" width="40" height="40" /></a></div> -
Thank you so much ! I’d love a few more tips hopefully you can help:
Is there a way to place a space between badges and centre them in the sidebar?
I have not had much luck finding a .png and code for an email badge. Can you recommend?
How to I create or find the http for RSS feed for my blog?

I don’t know about centering, but you can add multiple between each a tag to add spacing between them.

Try Iconfinder: https://www.iconfinder.com/search/?q=email&price=free

On WordPress.com, the feed url is always your domain + /feed/. So for your site it will be http://littlecreativeco.wordpress.com/feed/

You’re welcome.
PS: looks like the forum ate my HTML. You can add multiple “& nbsp ;” (but without the quotes and spacing) to add spacing between each icons.
