problem adding text widget to my sidebar

  I am currently using andreas09 theme for my blog, but have discovered that I am unable to add the text widget to my sidebar. What is the problem? What am I doing worng? I simply am trying to add some chicklets to my blog making it easier to opt in for any reader their reader, however, when I click to edit the text widget…it disappears. Help!

  Put the text widget into the sidebar, but before clicking the edit link on the widget, click the “save changes” button below the sidebar frame. Then after it saves, click the edit button and everything should go fine.

  Are you clicking change on the widget then save changes at the bottom ?
