problem after upgrading

    Hello,
    After trying to upgrade to the new version of WordPress and failing to do so, I was trying to upload back the old file to my host server.
    The following message appears:

    Fatal error: Call to undefined function wp_initial_constants() in /hermes/bosnacweb04/bosnacweb04bj/b331/ipw.ariekrampfcom/public_html/WordPress/wp-settings.php on line 41

    I’m pretty sure all the original files are back there.

    Any suggestions on how to recover my website?
