Problem Changing an Admins Email

Hi!
I am having trouble changing the current email ((email visible only to moderators and staff)) associated with my WordPress account to a new email account ((email visible only to moderators and staff)). I went to settings and changed the email account to (email visible only to moderators and staff). Then, a message said that an email would be sent to (email visible only to moderators and staff), which did happen. However, when I went to email account ((email visible only to moderators and staff)) to approve the change there was no location to confirm the email change… It just took me back to the WordPress login page.
