Problem changing gravatar
-
I have twice tried to change my gravatar. Each time the upload works, the update page tells me it’s done and that soon it will be visible all over wordpress, and I see it in three different sizes.
But nothing changes in my actual blog(s).
Who can I contact about this?

Fo here and read the FAQs http://en.gravatar.com/site/faq/
We cache your gravatars for periods of time, which means that your new gravatar will take effect after the old one expires from the cache. The reason we do this is to be able to serve your (and indeed everybody’s) gravatar images much more quickly and reliably.

BTW I’d like to be sure that you have enabled gravatar display on your blog. You do that on this page > Settings > Discussion scroll down to
Avatar Display
__Don’t show Avatars
__Show Avatars -
As far as caching goes — my first attempt was several days ago, the second was yesterday.
“Show Avatars” is enabled.
On the “General Settings” page the new avatar is displayed. But on the blog itself, the old one is still there.

I have deleted my old gravatar from my settings. I have gone to gravatar.com and jumped through their hoops including emptying my cache. Gravatar.com shows my new gravatar. When I go to my blog my wordpress *settings* shows my new gravatar, and the teensy gravatar in my browser bar shows my new gravatar. But on the blog itself I have only a dopey quilt block thing.
I don’t think I can do anything more from my side. I’m hoping WP can figure out the glitch.
