problem changing registered email address

    I have (twice) tried to change the registered email address on my blog. Each time I got an email saying “you are changing your address from (x) to (y), you can ignore this if it’s correct” or suchlike.
    Unlike other sites there was no “click here to confirm you want the change” button, just the text.
    First attempt, I cancelled after 4 days and tried again, but 5 days later the change remains “pending”

    Hi there,

    In addition to that confirmation email you get at the old email address on your account, you’ll get a confirmation email at the new email address — that email includes a confirmation link to confirm the change. Until you click the link, the email change will be listed as pending.

    If you run into trouble confirming the change, please let me know what email address you’re trying to change to and I can investigate that for you. (You can include the email address in your reply here and it will be hidden from everyone except WordPress.com staff.)
