  I can’t figure out why I don’t get your confirmation email at my regular email address: (email visible only to moderators and staff). Would it have anything to do with the fact that I didn’t choose a Facebook or other account? Because I’m not registered with any of those types of accounts.

  Check your Spam folder in email. Since the message is automated it often goes there.
