  no display poll button when i write a new post

  To confirm, are you writing a new post via your site’s dashboard at https://confessionsofawinegeek.wordpress.com/wp-admin/post-new.php?post_type=post or using a different page?

  I wasn’t using this link to write new posts but I am now! Thanks.
  How come the buttons don’t appear however you approach a new post?

  We’re experimenting with “cleaner” interfaces for users to post (if you clicked “New Post” on the upper-right of a WordPress.com page, that’s what you see) to see if that helps folks write more.

  If you use the Posts->Add Posts link from within your site’s dashboard (the page I gave you the direct link for), it has all of the functionality there (which some user feedback told us it was overkill and made it harder for them to write.

  I’ll let the team working on it know about your feedback as they continue their efforts to improve it!
