problem creating new free blog

    In the past, I would type the desired name of a new blog, and if it is unregistered I can click thru pages and choose the free site based upon ______.wordpress.com.
    Currently the page 2 of 3 only has one link, and that is to map a domain (either existing or a new creation). There is no link to the ‘free’ site. The page says it is possible, but there is no link to that action. I had this trouble a few weeks back, but cant recall now how I got around it. Suggestions ?
