Problem deleting sites with Premium Themes
-
Hi,
I’m trying to delete my sites. Two of them have premium themes, and I cannot delete them due to this. However, since the themes are once-off purchases, I cannot ‘cancel’ them either, which I understand is the requirement for me to delete the site.
How do I move forward with the deletion?

Hi
I suggest reading this article on how to delete sites with upgrades:
https://en.support.wordpress.com/delete-site/#deleting%C2%A0a-site-with-upgradesIf it didn’t help you can call a staff by adding the tag madlook and it will answer your questions

Hi there!
A Staff member can help you to remove the themes. Just note, that you won’t be able to use those themes again (you will have to buy them again if you want), and you won’t be able to get a refund for it. Also, once you go on deleting the site, you will not be able to use that address again.
I’ve added the modlook tag to the Tags section of the forum thread sidebar, so a Staff member can help your request.

Hi nmariagerlam,
I’ve removed the “Currents” theme from nmariagerlam.wordpress.com and “Linen” from yetanothertravelphotographyblog.wordpress.com. You should now be able to delete both sites using these steps:
The process cannot be reversed and it won’t be possible to reuse these WordPress.com addresses in the future. If you may need them again, marking each site as private may be good alternative.
Come back to me if you need any further help.
