Problem display Feature Image – Post

  Hi!

  Why in my posting page, my last post text goes beyond and under my featured image? I checked my settings and they are similar to the other posts which respond correctly….

  If the text is longer than the image, it wraps around: that’s the way the theme is designed (and you made it more likely to happen by using a larger font than the default). Auto excerpts display the first 55 words of the post, so the total height of the excerpt depends on whether there are many long words or not. You would have seen the same thing in the previous post too, if you had added an image.

  You can use the read-more tag to truncate the text at an earlier point.

  Or you can create your own custom excerpts in the Excerpt module of the post editor. Custom excerpts have the advantage that they don’t have to be the exact beginning of the post: they can be a synopsis, a teaser, whatever.
  If you don’t see the Excerpt module when you go edit a post, click Screen Options (top right) to activate it.
