Problem displaying background color

  I have a theme setup and working properly in IE, but for some reason I am unable to get the white box I have setup behind the entire content area (including the sidebar) to show up correctly in firefox. Here is how i have the box currently setup:

  width: 930px;
  min-height: 500px;
  text-align: left;
  padding: 15px;
  background-color: #FFFFFF;
  clear: both !important;

  Any help is great appreciated!
