Problem editing header

  I want to have my photo and the introduction (which are on the About page) to appear with the header, not have to click on About to see this as a separate page. I tried to add my photo to the header, but instead of displaying below the title, it is huge and has the title superimposed on the top. Can you help?

  Hello,

  What is commonly done in this scenario is to make your about page your Front Page. That way when someone loads up your blog without being linked to a specific page/post the about page is what they see.

  Thanks for the reply. Unfortunately I want the posts to show up without the user having to click to go to a separate “posts” page, so I guess I will have to live with having an “about” page that is separate.
