Problem embedding HTML code into blog

    I am trying to embed a video that I made using Jing. I paste the source code into my blog post (when i’m in the HTML portion) and I save it/preview post and there is absolutely nothing on the page. Does anyone know why this would be happening? This is the embed code:

    That code is shockwave flash and it is not allowed here at wordpress.com due to security concerns ( http://support.wordpress.com/code/ ), but most likely you can use the vodpod button to insert it.

    There are two types of wordpress. The wordpress.COM free hosting service that had limitations such as the code, and the self-hosted wordpress blogs that are pretty much wide open. The key difference of course is here you have to do nothing but blog. Upgrades, troubleshooting and backups are all taken care of for you. With a self-hosted blog, you install it on the web host, configure it, upload and install themes, etc., and you do all the backups and troubleshooting. If it goes down, you have to figure out what went wrong and fix it.
