I want to transfer my domain name from wordpress.com to hostinger.com, I got the “domain auth code” key from wordpress but when I enter it on hostinger.com I get the following message: The secret domain key/authorization code (EPP) is incorrect, what should I do to resolve this?

I confirmed that the domain auth code was sent to your WordPress.com account email with a subject “Domain Auth-Code For mamandesiles.blog | Code d’authentification du domaine de mamandesiles.blog.” I also confirmed that the domain transfer lock is off, and the domain is eligible to be transferred, being older than 60 days.
Please ensure that you have correctly and completely copied the domain auth code, including all beginning and ending punctuation. Any slight difference will cause the transfer to fail to authenticate.
If you are still unable to start the transfer after verifying that you have entered the auth code correctly, then the next step is to reach out to Hostinger. Explain to them that you have verified and entered the code correctly, but an issue on their end is preventing the transfer from starting.
