problem implementing a subscribers pop-up window

  Dear all,
  I am trying to add a subscribers pop-up window in the widgets of my blog.
  The code is generated by mail chimp, and once added it automatically transforms to a different code which doesn’t work. (see below)

  original code from mail chimp:

  //s3.amazonaws.com/downloads.mailchimp.com/js/signup-forms/popup/embed.jsrequire([‘mojo/signup-forms/Loader’], function(L) { L.start({‘baseUrl’:’mc.us15.list-manage.com’,’uuid’:’0042b010152027f136d598376′,’lid’:’8f413976dd’}) })

  gets automatically transformed to the following code:

  [mailchimp_subscriber_popup baseUrl='mc.us15.list-manage.com' uuid='0042b010152027f136d598376' lid='8f413976dd' usePlainJson='true' isDebug='false']

  What is the issue ad how can I resolve it?

  I’m interested in this too… i’d like that a subscriber who’s leaving will get a popup asking to subscribe to my blog… is it possible to do so?

  All that’s required to follow any blog hosted by wordpress.COM is exactly what you were required to provide to register here, and that is a valid email address that the published posts can be sent to.

  Here subscribers control their own subscriptions and frequency of receipt of posts from sites they subscribe to. We cannot act on their behalf. More to the point is the fact that when email addresses are submitted for the purpose of receiving blog updates that is the only purpose they can be used for.

  Widgets can be configured to appear only on certain pages (or be hidden on certain pages) by clicking on the Visibility button.
