Problem importing from another WordPress blog

I used the import tool to import some posts from another wordpress blog (I’d used that blog’s export tool to export selected post from a particular category. This was yesterday.
It has been more than 24 hours (or thereabouts) and nothing has happened. If I go to the import section again to try again, it still shows this message:
We’re processing your import now and will send you an email when it’s all done. If you don’t hear from us within 24 hours, please contact support, and we’ll get everything fixed.
Can anyone help? Is it still working? The export file was not very large.

I’ve gone ahead and cleared your existing import. Can you please go ahead and try running the import again?

I have just gone into the import area and it is still showing this message:

Hi just to confirm that the ‘processing’ message is still showing on the import page when I try to import a WP file…
