Problem importing XML file from blogger post content

  Hi,

  I tried to upload a XML file from blogger and received the following error message: ‘There don’t appear to be any authors in your import file.
  Make sure you are using a valid WordPress export file in XML or ZIP format’

  I exported the file from this blogger site:

  https://newstimemp.blogspot.com/

  The file extention is: .xml and is 950KB in size.

  Any advice / help to overcome this issue would be much appreciated.

  Hey there, can you ensure you’re using these steps?

  The export may be missing info if you’re using some other means to export, but the steps there should work.

  Hi,
  yes I am following the above steps only.
  I have downloaded the xml file from blogger but it can’t be able to import into wordpress.

  Still getting the same error message-
  ‘There don’t appear to be any authors in your import file.
  Make sure you are using a valid WordPress export file in XML or ZIP format’

  Are you importing a .zip file or a .xml file?

  If it’s a .zip file, you’ll need to expand it to reveal the .xml files.

  Have you tried exporting your content again from Blogger, and attempting a new import? If not, try that next.

  Let us know how that goes please.
