problem in editing my posts

  Hi all, i am new to blogging. In my blog, when i try to edit my post like, allowing to comment, add in smooth slider, nothing happens. But the mysterious thing is when am chek in allow commnets from Quick Edit it works. why this happening to me. Please answer. Thanks.
