Problem in getting embedded MailChimp email subscription setup
-
There seems to be a problem in getting embedded MailChimp email subscription.
I was able to get the MailChimp Popup email subscription working, but the embedded one fails to function as the email input box and subscribe button do not get displayed. Once you press update button after copy-pasting the pure html code from MailChimp, wordpress cleans-up the html code relevant to email input bax and subscribe button.Questions:
1.Can this be overcome or this is the present limitation of wordpress?2. The MailChimp popup page is displayed only for the first time a user checks the blog and it will not pop-up ever again for that user on that computer/laptop, until he cleans-up his cache memory. This looks like a critical crunch, as any person will not subscribe to a site for the first time. Most people come 2-3 times before they decide whether the content of a site is worth it for them to read through. If the wordpress doesn’t display the subscription popup it sort of defeats the purpose. Any help to over come this problem will be very helpful.

Hello Ravindra
Mailchimp will only show to visitors only once, on the initial visit, just like you have already noticed. That is covered in the help section found in this link:
https://en.support.wordpress.com/mailchimp/There IS a Follow button that is displayed every time the page is opened at the bottom right. This feature is covered in detail in the following help section:
https://en.support.wordpress.com/subscriptions-and-newsletters/You could perhaps bring this to the potential subscribers attention.
I hope this helps you!
Best,
Dave
