problem in posting

    When I try to paste some text into the text box only a fraction of the words appear.

    Hi there, where are you copying the text from? If some of it is being deleted, it could be that it contains some code that is not allowed here at WordPress.com and it is being stripped out by our software.

    Can you post what you are trying to insert here in this thread, between code tags (button in above the text box here). Click code tag, paste in the text, click the code tag again.
