Problem in Statistics

  I recently noticed that blog statistics are not working properly.
  An example is that when i take top posts for 7 days seems OK, but when i change it to 30
  days i realize that a post which had 30 hits for 7 days, for 30 days had just 25 hits which is impossible. Accordingly if i change the days to 60 the illogical hit numbers remain.
  Is there any idea for the reason of these mistakes, is it a bug ???
  I have Mozilla Firefox ver. 1.5.0.10 if this could help.
